go to
http://eg.washingtonpost.com/profile/796817/?&flavor_id=5&context=bars_nightlife
notice that the "search" floater covers the name and address of the club. it
renders fine in safari with no overlap.
this bug has been around for a while (though i'm using trunk bits now, it's on
the 1.0 branch too) but i'm only now just getting around to reporting it. sorry.

-> All/All I'm seeing this on win2k 2003041416 as well
IE win seems to wrap the go button to the next line keeping the div at the
expected width... don't really have time to look at the markup right now

Looks like Evangelism bug to me. The dropdowns are wider for Mozilla and
stretches the menu over the text.
In IE the page reloaded over and over again when using the menu...

Is this still a problem on that web page? If so, could you point me to the
place where the overlap happens (or post a screenshot)?

Ah, ok. That entire search bar does not appear on Linux... I think
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/entertainment/javascript/browser_checker.js
pretty much explains why (and note that they are sizing things differently and
using different HTML for the 4 browsers they check for.... so this is likely to
be evang).
