Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:149.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/149.0

Steps to reproduce:

I updated Firefox to version 149.0. on a computer running Windows 11 25H2. It does the same thing on a computer running 22H2 Build 19045.6809.

Actual results:

I cannot now drag and drop URLs from the address bar to the Bookmarks Sidebar if I use both the DuckDuckGo and Google Search Engines. In Settings, the option, "Show search terms in the address bar on results pages" is off.

This is very disruptive for me since I do a lot of searches and save many Bookmarks. Please fix soon! Updates are supposed to make Firefox work better, not worse. Now I wish I had not updated Firefox.

Expected results:

As usual, be able to drag and drop URLs into the Bookmarks Sidebar for any URL in the URL Address bar associated with a search.

There still is no response after reporting the issue 10 days ago! There is obviously a lack of proper support for Firefox!

I wanted to add that before the update, I could just simply left click on the beginning of a URL and drag and drop the URLs in Bookmarks. Now I cannot after doing a DuckDuckGo or Google search. The same problem occurs with some other URLS as I recall not associated with a search.
