User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:149.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/149.0
Steps to reproduce:
It appears to start randomly. I don't know how to trigger it.
Actual results:
At some point during the day the toolbar becomes unclickable and then also tabs can no longer be dragged. Since upgrading to Firefox 149 a week ago this has happened 4 times. It has not happened to me on earlier versions.
- Most items on the toolbar become unclickable and show no hover text. The back/forward/reload buttons, address bar, search bar, pinned extensions and the menu button all are unclickable. Only the pinned downloads and bookmarks button still respond to left-clicks.
- I can right-click the toolbar background.
- Using keyboard shortcuts still works to access the unclickable items. E.g., I can press Ctrl+L to focus the address bar, or Ctrl+K to focus the search bar, and then I can type in it.
- The tabs bar responds to left-clicks but I can't drag tabs to reorder them, or to split one off into a new window.
A similar sounding issue for Firefox 142 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1984342 has as workaround to drag a tab, but when this issue happens to me tabs can't be dragged. I need to kill Firefox to recover it.
My OS is Arch Linux running Gnome Shell 49.5 with Wayland.
Expected results:
Items on the toolbar are clickable and tabs can be dragged.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I believe this is a duplicate of 2022238. Fix should be in the next minor patch for v149 as I understand.
