Firefox currently doesn't have any shortcut for duplicating a tab. We can however give users the ability to define a custom shortcut for this action, by adding this as a unassigned key/command combination.

Edit: I am adding this specifically because it seems highly requested on connect Customizable Hotkeys is LIVE!! Please help us scope version 2

I don't think so. about:keyboard is deliberately still not discoverable (it's an about: page with no links in the UI) because it isn't polished enough for mainstream usage yet.
