Found in

  • Firefox Enterprise 149.0 - 149.2.0

Affected versions

  • 149.2.0 (20260409194738)

Tested platforms

  • Affected platforms: Windows 11 x64, Ubuntu 24.04 and macOS 26.3

Preconditions

  • Firefox Enterprise is launched and SSO authentication has completed successfully.
  • From about:addons > Themes> Enable Enterprise Dark theme

Steps to reproduce

  1. Observe the theme applied in Firefox Enterprise in the toolbar Mozilla badge.

Expected result

  • Mozilla badge text should be readable when using dark theme.

Actual result

  • The Mozilla badge text is and background contrast is improved when hovering over the badge.

Note:
This is more of an issue when device luminosity is not high.

The client is simply embedding the asset that we get from the console, hence this is not a bug in the client, rather than just an inconvenient asset served from the console. @fiji, could you update the prod and stage console to serve an asset that work across themes, e.g. set a white background, so it doesn't look like a bug in dark mode.

Flags: needinfo?(fmerz)

There's a new asset added to stage, so this should be resolved for now.
