User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030401
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030401
This condition only occassionally exhibits itself. Today it is limited to when I
try to display the contents of one of several folders. If I select a different
folder it goes away, but returns if the original folder is selected, even after I
restart Mozilla. During the jittering, task mgr shows mozilla consuming about
95% of the available cpu, and other dynamic docked gui apps will not respond.
During the jitter, I can still painstakingly open/close the header +/-, and
resize window panes. The left sidebar pane of available folders, and the top
pane with the list of available emails are stable, but the bottom pane with the
header, content and attachment panes jitters up/down a distance of line of text.
The scroll bar and arrows in the top email list pane have not yet been drawn.
Choosing other messages within that folder does not seem to make a difference.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Mozilla
2. Choose folder exhibiting problem.
3.
Actual Results:
Initial display starts, pauses a moment, then jitter begins.
Expected Results:
Display window completely after selecting folder.
If I delete the topmost email message, the jittering stops.
If I undo the deletion, it begins again.
