Expected results:

This attribute allows the "value" accessibility mapping of the select element (and possibly others?) to manually be set by the author. This change has been approved by the ARIA WG in this PR: https://github.com/w3c/aria/pull/2417

I noticed this is related to #1732284: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1732284
