Firefox for Android
Steps to reproduce:
Typing in duckduckgo search page while using swiftkey or sometimes Samsung keyboard
Actual results:
Typing in the search bar (not the address bar) , the text is doubled, spaces don't register properly, and cannot backspace. This issue does not happen when using Gboard or when searching on chrome.
Expected results:
Text should not double over and you should be able to backspace. autocomplete should overwrite the partially typed word and not amend it after the existing text

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox for Android::Toolbar' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

This annoying bug seems somewhat related to search engines searchbar detection/JS implementation.
I can trigger it on :
- Google search result page (but not front page).
- duckduckgo search result page (but not front page).
- Bing front page (but not result page) I guess because there's is already results showing up.
- Yahoo.com
It is NOT on (seems regular text input) :
- Ask.com
- Ecosia
