User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030401 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030401 Tried to download files from several sites including freewarepalm, solidworks etc and selecting link does nothing, no windows no progress no download manager. I reset download preference to activate download manager, then selecting download link does nothing. reset download preference to show progress bar, then download link does nothing. tried third option on download preference with no luck. All download attempts were from several sites I have downloaded from many times in the past succesfully. I also no have pop-ups which I never had before with my script controls set to block unrequested pop-ups. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to any web page with download links. IE freewarepalm.com 2.click a download link 3. Actual Results: absolutly nothing, no download manager, progress bar or downloaded file. Expected Results: should have indicated download and asked for a destination folder.
I have the same problem. Only sollution to restore the browser and make it work again is to deinstall the program. Remove all registry keys and Application data in the home directory and reinstall. It works a couple of time and then breaks again. Couse is not obvious.
