As Mozilla moves towards a component-based system (eg. Firebird, Thunderbird,
ChatZilla, etc), I feel it would be advantageous to allow users to customize the
component bar.
This way, those people who want a "Mozilla Application Suite" can choose the
relevant components (and crucially, extensions and add-ons) that they want to be
quickly accessible.
This isn't one to fix quickly, but it would be nice if it existed in Mozilla 1.5.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a Navigator window.
2. Make sure the component bar is visible with View -> Show/Hide -> Component Bar.
Actual Results:
1. Right-click on toolbar and/or any of the component launch icons does nothing.
Expected Results:
1. Right-click should bring up options of "Hide Toolbar" & "Customize..."
(a) "Hide Toolbar" hides toolbar (obviously)
(b) "Customize..." pops-up a "Component Bar Manager" window that allows users
to add/remove custom icons that launch a particular XUL URL or user program.
