Environment:
Operating system: Windows 10
Firefox version: Firefox 150.0 / Firefox Nightly 152.0a1 (2026-05-07)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Access: https://vms-mg.ucanr.edu/files/mg/documents/6135PCMG_ONLY_-_VMS-_Categories,_Event_Form,_Tutorial,_etc.109349.mp4
  2. Observe the page

Expected Behavior:
The page is displayed accordingly and the video can be played

Actual Behavior:
"No video with supported format and MIME type found" error message is displayed instead of the media player with the video

Notes:

  • Reproduces regardless of the status of ETP
  • Reproduces in firefox-nightly, and firefox-release
  • Does not reproduce in chrome

Created from https://github.com/webcompat/web-bugs/issues/219619

Since nightly and release are affected, beta will likely be affected too.
