Note:
Set browser.settings-redesign.enabled to true.

Affected versions:
Nightly 152.0a1(2026-05-07)

Affected platforms:
Window 11
MacOS 13.2.1
Ubuntu 24.10

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Navigate to the Settings(about:preferences) page.
  3. Click on the "Privacy and Security" section.
  4. Observe that an info message is missing from the Additional protections panel.

Expected result:
There should be an info message(for 'Do not track') displayed in the Additional protections panel, as shown in the Figma design.

Actual result:
There is no info message displayed in the Additional protections panel. Please see the screenshot attached.

Regression range:
Not a regression, it's a new feature.

QA Whiteboard: [qa-found-in-c152] [QA-4879][S3] → [qa-found-in-c152] [QA-4879][S4]

That is gated behind privacy.donottrackheader.enabled=true and shows up when I enable it.
