When launching MozMail with the option to compress the mail folder (for gaining
space) enabled, the dialog asking if you want to compress the folder appears. If
you have also the Automatically download new messges option enabled, a second
dialog appears telling that the folder is currently busy and to check for new
messages later.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable Compress mail folder & Automatically download new messages
2. Launch MozMail
3. Click on OK in the Do you want to compress the mail folder dialog
4. If there are new messages to download from the server, a second dialog pops up.
Actual Results:
Apart from clicking in two dialogs, you have to click again to actually get the
new messages.
Expected Results:
MozMail should not try downloading new messages while already compressing the
mail folder, at least for the server relative to the folder being compressed,
and postpone it until compression is finished.
I have 3 pop accounts in mozmail, and since the first is also the the one with
more traffic, I get into this situation quite often. The compress this folder
dialog has no Remember this decision checkbox (it's another bug), so I revert to
click to 2 dialogs and on one button (get new msgs) almost everytime I use
MozMail, which is quite annoying.
Sorry in advance if I haven't got the component right.
