It would be desirable, for example, to be able to remove tags, keeping the text contained in them (and if possible also keeping other tags contained in them). Daniel--I think this is a duplicate bug but I haven't been able to find it; does it sound familiar to you?

Summary: RFE: Better editing in Tags view → Better editing in All Tags view (ability to remove tags without removing content)
The requested feature is already in Composer, fixed a long time ago when I changed the status bar to a document's structure bar. Place the caret in the element you want to remove, righ-click on the element's tag in the status bar, select "Remove tag". Duping to 173319. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 173319 ***
