STR:
- Launch latest Nightly 152.0a1 on Ubuntu 26.04.
- Visit https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/query.cgi?format=advanced.
- Click "Search By Change History".
- Search some dates like
2026-05-12in the "between" input box so they go into form history. - Click the "between" input box to show form history.
Expected:
Form history content fits and is not clipped like before.
Actual:
Form history content is significantly smaller than the input box due to new additional padding, causing it to be clipped.
In the pictured example, the last digit of the date is mostly gone, making the suggestions much less useful. Unlike the input box, there is no way to scroll the content horizontally to reveal it, each item would need to be selected one at a time.
The form history popup should have the same content visibility as the parent input box.

Does this need a different assignee? It's a pretty obvious visual regression to be shipping for so long.
I've shown this is easily reproducible with bug 2060610. What exactly is the issue with fixing it?

This issue should've been fixed by bug 2060610. I can't reproduce it on Firefox 153 and on. I've tested on both macOS and Windows.
Would you be able to provide the Firefox version and OS you're currently seeing this in? Thanks!
This works for me on latest Nightly 156.0a1 and was fixed in 2026-06-15 build corresponding to Bug 2045828.
@ericd586 you can reopen Bug 2060610 if you are still experiencing scrollbar clipping.
Fixed by Bug 2045828.

I'm using Firefox 154 on Windows 11. It does looks this specific issue is fixed. I think the bug I filed, bug 2060610 was mistakenly flagged as a duplicate of this one when it's actually related to bug 2059339, which appears to fixed in version 155.
