User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:150.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/150.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Click with the left button in the back button until the menu of previous visited pages appears
  2. Use the mouse to hover the option for a previous page

Actual results:

The hovered option is far way from the actual cursor

Expected results:

The hovered option should be under the cursor.

In my screenshot, you can see the second item is hovered, but the mouse is over the sixth item.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I found that you have second screen. Is it at left or right of the first screen?

It's in the left. My main screen is the one with 1440p, a display I have, the other one is the laptop screen and it's in the left. I rarely use it.

Could you try to switch their relative position for temporary to see if it fixes the issue?

What I did was moving the laptop screen to the left, turning off the laptop screen, just keeping the external display, and also moving the Firefox window to the laptop screen. None of those changes fixed the problem.

Did you try to launch Firefox on the laptop screen directly? Sorry for so many requests!

I turned off the external display and tried to open Firefox from the laptop screen, but didn't change a thing.

While you select the items, do you still hold mouse button? If so it's known mutter bug while focus it not transferred to opened popup due to missing pointer grab.

Yes. I keep pressing the button. So the problem is something expected in some way?
