User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030429 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030429 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 Basically, I have unchecked the box marked "Save information I enter in web page forms and the Search Bar". For a while, the system did not bother me with any more "Would you like to save this form" dialog boxes, and neither did little auto-complete drop-downs appear while I was typing. However, it doesn't appear to stay that way. After a few weeks, it turned itself back on, even though the config screens still show that box as being unchecked. This was using your March 13th nightly build. I have recently downloaded and installed the April 29th nightly build, and to my dismay, the problem has apparently gotten worse. There is no grace period, the system pretty much always insists on doing auto-complete and asking me everytime if I want to save the form data. I imagine this doesn't rank extremely high on your list, but if you could at some point give us the option to completely disable this feature, I would certainly appreciate it. Thanks, Bill Ung <ung@filenet.com> Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Search for a specific item on E-Bay 2. Search for a different item on E-Bay 3. Go back to the original link I provided and repeat step #1. The form auto-complete will execute and try to help you out with the form, even though the browswer was specifically configured NOT to save that information. I'm afraid I don't have a page right off that reproduces the dialog box asking you to save the form information. Virtually any on-line merchant would probably do ... but I don't have a direct link to something like that without directing you guys to buy something. :-) Actual Results: The auto-complete form appears, or the dialog box pops up and asks me if I want to save the form information. Expected Results: No form information of any sort should be saved, nor should the user be prompted about saving form information ... since the browser was pre-configured to disable this feature. Certainly the problem with auto-complete intermittently crashing the browser makes this more of a pain in the ass. Still, I'm typically not comfortable with certain types of form information being stored, and additionally, I don't like the way the pop-up dialog box breaks in and prompts me everytime when I already told it 'no'.
