Preconditions

• browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.widgets.system.clocks.enabled true
• browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.widgets.system.enabled true

Affected versions

• 153.0a1 (2026-05-25)

Affected platforms

• Windows 11
• macOS 26.5
• Ubuntu 26.04

Steps to reproduce

1. Reach the large sized World Clock Widget
2. Look over the default longer city names (Buchares and New York)

Expected result

• The longer names are fully shown

Actual result

• The longer names are truncated

Regression range

• Tried searching with mozregression and got between 2026-05-22/23, but it failed to search deeper, so got to this pushlog, and most probably this was regressed by Bug 2040645's fix.

I have reproduced this issue using Firefox 153.0a1 (2026.05.26) on Windows 11.
I can confirm this issue is fixed, I verified using latest nightly Firefox 154.0a1 and Firefox 153.0 on Windows 11, macOS 13 and Ubuntu 22.
