Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://www.gsmarena.com/google_android_17_continue_on-news-72910.php
  2. Scroll down the page until the embedded videos
  3. Observe the page

Expected Behavior:
The embedded videos can be played accordingly

Actual Behavior:
"No video with supported format and MIME type found" error is displayed and the embedded videos cannot be played

Notes:

  • Reproducible on the latest Firefox Release and Nightly
  • Reproducible regardless of the ETP setting
  • Works as expected using Chrome

Details: auto mozilla::SupportChecker::AddMediaFormatChecker(const TrackInfo &)::(anonymous class)::operator()() const: Decoder may not have the capability to handle the requested video format with YUV444 chroma subsampling.
