The new tab is created and the url bar has about:blank in it instead of the bad url. Sometimes this happens because of a typo and sometimes it happens because a site is busy or down. It would be very helpful to have the url in the tool bar even though it's bad. That way I can hit reload to try again or correct a typo by hand if I can. Otherwise, the only way to figure out what the problem is to remember what you clicked on to open the tab. If you open several tabs at once, it's very annoying to figure out where the link was that didn't work. (ps: great program!) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load a page with a bad link 2. middle click on the link to open a new tab Actual Results: - tab is opened properly - an error dialog is shown - the url in the toolbar contains about:blank Expected Results: - put the bad url in the toolbar instead of about:blank
