User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 In RH9 that ships with XFree86 4.3.0 there is a serious problem with viewing fonts. For example, this tag : <font face=Tahoma size=2> will show a normal size (10) font in last version of RH and Mozilla. But in RH9 , it show font like a "Microb" !!! I need to Zoom to 200% or more and change settings (Apperance->Min Font Size to 12 or 13) to correct problem. As you know, in XFree86 4.3.0 , Xft is mixed with XFree86, I think that maybe problem is from that. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Run your browser 2.Go to an Arabic/Farsi site like http://www.talareweb.com 3.will see problem clearly! Actual Results: I described above. Expected Results: I described above. My PC: RH Linux Release 9 with XFree86 4.3.0
Sounds like a RH9 font problem, not a BiDi problem....

Have you tried setting Apperance-> Fonts -> Fonts for:Arabic-> Min Font Size ? I can't read Arabic/Farsi but I was able to make the min. font 24 which looks readable.:) My nightly 2003050605 Mozilla font size is the same size as my day old cvs w/GTK2/XFT.
