User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030506 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030506 www.sebago.net 66.70.83.208 www.greenleafinn.com --- there are several others --- ALL sites were built with Macromedia Dreamweaver. When going from one page to another, the images will shift slightly in their postion from right to left (or left to right). I figure that it is a HTML coding issue, but if you view it in MS Internet Explorer the images stay in the correct positions. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.www.sebago.net (or other sites) 2.change between pages Actual Results: look for top banner images to move (r to l)/(l to r) Expected Results: view in MS Internet Explorer to see that they don't shift.... if you still have it loaded. I really wish I could care less about MS but web development tools are built for their browsers since they own the majority of the browser market.

This has happened on every version of Mozilla since I started using it...

With a little more observation, it appears to be only when the right-hand "scroll bar" is running on a long page. However, MSIE browsers don't shift the images...

See bug 72540 (but all the pages at http://www.sebago.net have a scrollbar here and I see no image movement...)

I'm running 1600x1200 and see it quite frequently since several pages don't scroll. I can reproduce it at 1024x768 on my Linux box with the site at 66.70.83.208. Cycle between http://66.70.83.208/schedule.htm and http://66.70.83.208/information.htm at 1024x768 to see what I'm talking about. If needed I will create a "short" page on one of the sites... there! I did! Cycle between http://www.sebago.net/ and http://www.sebago.net/indexALT.htm. Use MS Internet Explorer with no movement and then Mozilla with a slight pixel slide to the right when the scroll bar goes away. It slides left when the scroll bar reappears. It actually looks like it is the table that the image sits inside that is shifting.

Ah. At 1600x1200 you would indeed get the scrollbar disappearing and then get bug 72540 (see the arguments in that bug). And yes, the entire table is shifting. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 72540 ***

to point out that it is not just a handful of sites, you can do the same thing to Google (www.google.com) by resizing the height of the browser window. When the scroll bar appears in Mozilla the Google page will shift left. When you drag the window longer again, and the bar disappears, it will shift right.
