Steps to reproduce

1. Enable Smart Window.
2. Have a lot of Tabs opened in Window 1.
3. Open a Second Window and ask the Assistant to close tabs from the 1st window.

Expected result

• Since the Manage Tabs Tool panel shows the Tabs from the 1st Window and the user can select them, users should be able to close them.

Actual result

• The Tabs are listed in the Panel but selecting them and clicking the Close Tabs button does nothing.

Verified as fixed in our latest Nightly 155.0a1 (2026-07-26) however we did come across bug 2058016
