This meta bug represents the work toward RFC - Merge Crash Pings with Crash Stats (not public).
The RFC is an evolution of :afranchuk's original proposal (not public).
Executive Summary
This RFC proposes integrating Crash Ping data into Crash Stats and its existing APIs and views, so that Mozilla’s Crash Analysis workflows are more efficient and its Crash Detection workflows are based on a more complete and representative view of product stability. Ultimately, after a transition period, Crash Stats will default to Crash Pings instead of Crash Reports.
