Steps to reproduce:

After the last update of the Firefox browser to version 152.0.1 (64-bit) I started it and I could not input anything in any field with my keyboard. They mouse/trackpad worked fine.

Actual results:

I could not do anything, but only passive browsing with clicks in the trackpad.
I also ran from the command line the browser and the report I got showed like this:

[Parent 98142, Main Thread] WARNING: Unable to connect to ibus: Could not connect: No such file or directory: 'glib warning', file checkouts/gecko/toolkit/xre/nsSigHandlers.cpp:200

(firefox:98142): IBUS-WARNING **: 11:21:15.328: Unable to connect to ibus: Could not connect: No such file or directory
[Parent 98142, Main Thread] WARNING: Events queue growing too big, will start to drop.: 'glib warning', file checkouts/gecko/toolkit/xre/nsSigHandlers.cpp:200

Expected results:

I should have been able to type anything I intended to with my keyboard in any field allowing typing.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::File Handling' component, but is not confident enough to move the bug to that component.

Component: Untriaged → General

I apologize. After some more digging I found that the ibus-daemon failed to start properly. Declaring invalid.
