Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:152.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/152.0
Steps to reproduce:
Idownloaded a office document (either MS Word or ODT files) using firefox flatpak and try to open it directly in libreoffiice from the downloads pop-up (double-clicking the item in the dowloads menu).
Actual results:
LibreOffice opens, but an error message like this appear: "/run/user/{user_id}/{hash}/document.extension does not exist".
Expected results:
It should have oppened the file in libreoffice. It seems that when firefox launches libreoffice, it gives the contanerized path of the document, and libreoffice cannot access it. I recommend giving this a look to pass the correct path when trying to open doucments externaly in other app.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'WebExtensions::Untriaged' component, but is not confident enough to move the bug to that component.
PD.: Both firefox and libreoffice are installed via the latest flatpak availiable in flathub.

This is something to do with flatpak. I don't know why it wouldn't work. Hopefully the triagers of the relevant component can help.

Thanks for the report, and sorry for the slow reply.
I couldn't reproduce this with the current Flathub Firefox and LibreOffice on a clean GNOME system - the document opened normally, so I need a bit more detail about your setup.
First, in Firefox open Settings -> General and look at the Downloads section. What folder does "Save files to" show - or is "Always ask you where to save files" selected?
Then reproduce the error and run these two commands in a terminal, replacing FOLDER with the folder above and PATH with the exact path from the LibreOffice error message (keep the quotes):
flatpak run --command=ls org.mozilla.firefox -la 'FOLDER'
ls -l 'PATH'
The first lists your download folder as Firefox sees it from inside its container; the second checks whether the file LibreOffice complained about is really there.
Please paste the output of both, along with the error message exactly as it appears.
