Affected environment

  • Staging

Tested platforms

  • Affected platforms: all

Preconditions

  • Admin account with access to Releases page in the console
  • SSO login on the Admin console and reach the Releases page

Steps to reproduce

  1. From the Release Library, select a channel (e.g. release-enterprise or nightly-enterprise).
  2. Scan the Version list for two rows sharing the same Version and Build ID.
  3. Check the edit modal data as well.

Expected result

  • The Release Library provides a visual indicator (e.g. a badge, icon, or highlight) on rows that share the same Version and Build ID as another row, so admins can immediately identify duplicate entries before deciding which one to edit/approve.

Actual result

  • Duplicate rows are displayed with no visual distinction and the edit modal dates are identical. Two entries with identical Version and Build ID appear as plain, separate rows, indistinguishable from unique entries.

Notes:

  • Observed duplicates in release-enterprise: 152.1.0 (20260618054939) and 152.0 (20260616050315) each appear twice in the Release Library.
QA Whiteboard: [Pilot][Pasteur][Releases Page][S4] → [Pilot][Pasteur][Releases Page][S1]

We discussed with Michael that duplicates releases would be merged on the backend side at import time.

NI Michael to confirm

Flags: needinfo?(michael)

Yes, as discussed this will be fixed by merging similar releases on in backend.
