The search boxes in sidebar panels are currently rounded rectangles and need to be fully rounded on the edges.

Spec

Component: Layout → Sidebar
Product: Core → Firefox
Blocks: nova-chrome
Flags: needinfo?(sclements)
Priority: -- → P2

Sarah, I'm marking it as a P2 as while this is not visually great, it's not a functional problem, and the reach is under 10% of DAU.

Mark, we're using moz-input-search here and in firefox view and it looks like with nova enabled the --input-text-border-radius used by that component is still resolving to --border-radius-medium. Is there a bug on file for fixing this?

Flags: needinfo?(sclements) → needinfo?(mstriemer)

<input> still uses --border-radius-medium https://searchfox.org/firefox-main/rev/7fa9b602777418732e08b26d1ef6c9945c4bbd72/toolkit/themes/shared/global-shared.css#157 and I have seen that in parts of the chrome like the Add Bookmarks panel. Is the design intention to have fully rounded text inputs in browser chrome?
