Steps to reproduce:

OS: Ubuntu Linux, Europe/Tallinn timezone

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Thunderbird Calendar in Month view.
2. Leave Thunderbird running across midnight.
3. After midnight, check the highlighted "today" date.

Additional information:
System time is correct:
date -> Sun Jul 5 02:32:18 AM EEST 2026
timedatectl -> Time zone Europe/Tallinn, system clock synchronized yes.
Thunderbird settings use system timezone and show Sunday, July 5, 2026 correctly.
Refreshing the view with Go to Today / switching views / restarting Thunderbird makes the marker correct.

Actual results:

The calendar still highlights the previous day as today.

Expected results:

The highlighted today marker should move to the new date automatically after midnight.
