We just received the final approval to release containers by default, even before the Nova redesign (for the Nova-ify of the container UI/UX see bug 2051651).

This bug ends the Container V1 milestone: enabling by default what we already have on Nightly.
Follow-ups will be to bring more and more features from Multi-Account Containers into Gecko.

[Why is this notable]: Containers has been one of Firefox's most requested and unique features for a long time (over 9 years), but until now it was only available through an add-on (Multi-Account Containers). This patch enables Containers as a built-in feature for every Firefox user by default.
[Affects Firefox for Android]: No (not yet!)

This release of Containers in Firefox version 153 lets you keep separate parts of your online life (work, shopping, personal, banking) logged into different accounts in the same browser window, but keeps your cookies and ad tracking isolated inside each container.

The SUMO page for this is in progress.

Note added to our beta release notes without a link for now.

The SUMO link will be https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-use-firefox-containers, but I need to get the content updated.
