As part of Bug 1894526 we have removed from addons-search-detection use of the legacy telemetry API, but we have kept the legacy telemetry data around by mirroring it from the Glean telemetry.

This bugzilla issue is tracking getting rid of the mirroring part and keep collecting the telemetry data only through Glean.
