The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Sidebar' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce.
Can you reproduce on a clean profile from the steps here? If you open the browser console (open with ctrl-shift-j), then try to open the sidebar a few times, do any new errors appear there ? In about:config, what is the value of sidebar.visibility?
Current profile opend browser console and attempted to open sidebar a couple times. Here is the output:
NotFoundError: No such JSProcessActor 'BrowserToolboxDevToolsProcess'
Uncaught TypeError: can't access property "hidden", cpmMenuItem is null
toggle chrome://browser/content/sidebar/browser-sidebar.js:1171
<anonymous> chrome://browser/content/browser-sets.js:318
Will rty with clean profile after a backup and will report back.
Clean Profile: ctrl-B worked as expected.
Original profile, I selected Help -> Troubleshoot mode so all extensions were disabled, ctrl-B did NOT function.
about:config - sidebar.visibility shows hide-sidebar. does not change with ctrl-B in either profile.
