The Firefox view icon looks 1px lower than the icons to the left and right of it (accounts & list all tabs). See screenshots.

The only CSS override on the Firefox View button/icon specifically is background-position: top 25% right 25% but that should only affect the notification dot from bug 1774397 that looks like it's since been removed. The boxes look identical between Firefox View and Extensions. Removing the background-position rule does not change how it looks.

I inspected the SVG paths on https://searchfox.org/firefox-main/source/browser/themes/shared/icons/firefox-view.svg and it looks to me like the Proton version's height spans (0.5, 16) while the Nova version spans (1, 16), which could make it look like the top of the icon is 0.5px lower than others. However, visually, it looks to me like the Firefox View button icon for Nova has its top 1px lower and its bottom 2px lower than the Extensions toolbarbutton.

I think this may be a case where icons are drawn with somewhat inconsistent "padding" within the SVGs themselves? I loaded up the toolbar with icons and drew a box to provide guide lines. I don't think the Firefox View icon looks super out of place. Extensions and Home look the most off to me because they are drawn with their SVG paths not touching the bottom of the 16x16 view box.
