When using xft/gtk2 and standard X Helvetica, words that occur after certain
kinds of quote marks ('") are not rendered up to the end of the line. You can
get the text to render by selecting the quote mark, but if you select parts of
the affected text itself it may disappear.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Go to the URL above for an example-- look for the text { In one announcement, a
networking } - the bug occurs immediately after this, as well as after the text
{ most committed to killing. Let }
The font must be the bitmap version of Helvetica. If it renders using some other
font, try forcing the font Helvetica in Preferences.
Actual Results:
Text after quote mark to the end of the line are not rendered.
Expected Results:
Rendered correctly.
