Tested platforms

• Affected platforms: Windows 11 x64, macOS 26.04
• Unaffected platforms: Ubuntu 24.04

Preconditions

• Ensure that Nova is enabled.
• Sign in to Sync on multiple devices, with multiple tabs open on each device.
• Set the Firefox theme to System/Light/Dark.

Steps to reproduce

1. Click the Account button.
2. In the Secure Sync section, click another device
3. In the Recent tabs section, hover over the X button.

Expected result

• The X button should display a hover effect.

Actual result

• The X button does not display a hover state. If a different Firefox theme (e.g., Blue) is selected, the hover state is displayed correctly.

Regression range

• This is not a regression.

Are you saying this is broken with Nova disabled too?

No, the hover is visible when Nova is disabled. Please see the screenshot.
