I couldn't hit this failure in my push to try with a draft patch removing the nova part of the skip-if associated to this test:

• it did pass successfully 2 times in this linux2404-64 opt mochitest-plain job
• it did also pass in this windows11-64-25h2 opt mochitest-plain job
• and it did also pass in this macosx1500-aarch opt mochitest-plain job

I have also tried to see if I could get to hit the failure locally on macOS (on the current tip and also by moving my local firefox working tree to the git commit right before the skip-if was added) but I haven't been able to reproduce (and without being able to hit a failure either on try or locally I couldn't try to bisect if it used to fail but something fixed it in the meantime).

Given that this was opened as a perma-failure I would have expected to be able to hit the failure at least in one of the attempts (locally and in try pushes) and so I'm leaning towards proposing to try to remove the skip-if while keeping this open to determine if it does still fail.
