When the background image is applied to the toolbox, as it is set with background-clip: border-box, the image extends to the border. However, because background-origin remains set to padding-box, the background-position starts inside the padding area rather than at the border.
As a result, the toolbox borders have no background image underneath, leaving a visible gap. Setting background-origin to border-box can fix the problem.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Install the Cozy Rain Goddess theme (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cozy-rain-goddess).
- Execute the following code in the console:
gNavToolbox.style.borderColor = "rgb(255 0 0 / .2)";
document.body.style.backgroundColor = "white";
- Observe that the background image does not extend to the right and bottom borders.

Seriously? Can't believe such an easy fix just adding a single line of background-origin: border-box won't be made...
