Mozilla has had this function for quite some time, and I expected to see it
implemented in phoenix at 0,4 but it STILL isn't here - in Firebird. I realise
that this isn't a _bug_ but it should still be fixed.

Chris, you've got "Bookmark all tabs in a folder" to group the tabs together in
your Bookmarks and you've got "Open in tabs" for Bookmark folders to get these
tabs back later on...

So from my point of view this is the requested functionality - or did I miss
something?

btw: you're right, this is no bug but an RFE :) => reducing severity and setting
Hardware / os = All

The devs have made it clear for quite some time, that they believe the tab
groups functionality to be too complicated and to unintuitive. Therefore tab
group support has been dropped.

This is a WONTFIX.

Just to clearify: in comment #1 I meant the checkbox 'Bookmark all tabs in a
folder', which can be found in the dialog {Add Bookmark}. This checkbox is only
visible, if you want to add a new bookmark and if you've got tabs opened. Using
this feature you get a new bookmark folder that contains all currently opened
tabs, so in principle this should cover the requested functionality...
