There is an r+ patch which didn't land and no activity in this bug for 1 week.

Putting the patch on-hold for a while, I need to re-evaluate a few things and a bit difficult to do with so many moving pieces ATM. Main issue right now is that I'm playing whack-a-mole with various focus mechanisms.
