206560 - PAC: does not work for me in Mozilla v1.4b

Having used the previous version of Mozilla successfully with .pac files I found
that on upgrade I could no longer browse.   I checked the relevant webserver
delivering the pac files which had no problems.   Reloaded and the restarted the
the Proxy Autoconfiguration but was still unable to browse any sites.   The .pac
works with previous versions of Mozilla, IE and Opera.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Edit/Preferences/Advanced/Proxies
2. Add the Autoconfiguration URL and file
3. Attempt to browse.

Actual Results:  
Got a message saying unable to find destination server.

Expected Results:  
It should have loaded the Web Page

As mentioned earlier, this worked in previous versions.    The .pac files are
delivered internally over 25,000 times per day to over 5000 users.   It is an
Apache WebServer with both dos and unix mime types set up for the .pac files
wtihin HTTPD.CONF

Please reopen if a installation in a com,plete empty directory doesn't fix your
problem
