User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 I use pgp to create attachments. I attach the pgpg'ed file to the mail and send it as usual. This seems OK. However when the message is received on the recepient side, the attachment can not be unpgp'ed. I tried this also by sending a copy to me ( so it is sent and received by mozilla ). The problem is still there, so I understand this is not sth with the other hand. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.make a dummy tar.gz file. encrypt it with pgp. 2.create a mail and attach the pgp'ed file to the mail, sent to your mail account 3.get your mail and save the attachment, try to unpgp the attachment. Actual Results: PGP tool will complain that the file is corrupt. Expected Results: I am not sure what is wrong but it should rather be able to send the attachment correctly. The problem is independent of the pgp version. I have tried several versions of the pgp tool and both on windows and linux.
That might be a dupe of another bug. Please read through bug 168098 comment 4 and see if that's also the cause of your problem. Please close the bug as dupe if it is - if not, the complete source of an corrupted mail with attachment would be nice.
I have removed the pgp applicaton help and added an helper application/grmpf with extension pgp. It now seems to be working. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 168098 ***
