Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030516 Mozilla Firebird/0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030516 Mozilla Firebird/0.6
Part of the OS X design guidlines is that if an open (running, as designated by
the triangle under the dock icon) application has no currently opened windows,
clicking on the dock icon, should (if focus is not on the application you click
on) switch focus and spawn a new default main window.
Firebird (and Mozilla for that matter) do not spawn new browser windows in this
state.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Firebird
2. Close browser window, but do not quit application
3. Click on Firebird icon in the Dock. Note new browser window does not appear.
Actual Results:
Application recieved focus, nothing else happened.
Expected Results:
A new browser window should have opened, going to my default new window preference
