User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425 With Mail window open, create new Navigator window, open Google, then flip back to Mail to check the search item's spelling. When back at Navigator, no keys function, although the input cursor is in the entry field. Repeated mouseclicks to realize the panel do not cause the field to become available for entry or edit. The only choice is to kill the Navigator window and open a new one. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.From mail, open a new navigator window. 2.Type something; minimize navigator and then restore it from task bar (Os/X). 3.Field on panel no longer editable, even though cursor is in the field. Actual Results: Google search prompt field frozen. Expected Results: Allow continued editing of active navigator field. This reliably fails. I will investigate whether opening other navigator windows or address book, etc. generates the same "lock" in the navigator panel.
WorksForMe using FizzillaMach/2003-05-20-08-trunk. Werner, can you still reproduce this problem using a current nightly build? If so, can you reproduce this problem using another Mozilla user profile?
Wilco tonight.
1.4b nightly build fixed this bug for me.
