STR:

1. Start Firefox Nightly with a fresh profile.
2. Open hamburger menu.
3. Look at the "Sign in to Sync" call-to-action at the top of the menu.

Alternate STR:

1. Let Firefox Nightly download an update.
2. Open hamburger menu.
3. Look at the "Restart to update nightly" call-to-action at the top of the menu -- particularly the top-left and top-right rounded corners of its border.

ACTUAL RESULTS:
The top corners of the call-to-action have a different style of rounding and don't look nicely nestled in the menu's rounded corners.

EXPECTED RESULTS:
More cohesive-looking rounded corners.

This is a version of bug 2063827, just with a different bit of UI. Adding see-also. (Feel free to dupe if that bug or some other bug covers this issue on this bit of UI.)

Maybe the current design (with the menu-item squished inwards a bit, leaving its corners out-of-alignment with the menu's corners) is a way of leaving space for a scrollbar to optionally appear? That seems to be what's happening if I have overlay scrollbars (the default for me on Linux) and my screen is too short to fit the whole hamburger menu so that a scrollbar appears, as shown here.

Having said that: with traditional non-overdlay scrollbars ("always show scrollbars" turned on), the scrollbar creates its own track-space outside of the menu padding, and the side-padding does not get used for anything, which makes it look a bit more unnecessary/odd, as shown here (and the corner-misalignment -- on the left at least -- looks more like it's just an oversight rather than something that's intentional).
