I would like to see a context menu for downloads in the download manager, which
shows the same menu as when you right-click a file in Explorer (under Windows at
least). I know that there is bug 132019 but it's not quite the same as this.
Opera has this feature, and it makes deleting files (amongst other things) so
much quicker, and saves me having to navigate to the file first.
To make sure that the above mentioned bug isn't affected perhaps you could do
like Opera, and add "Pause", "Resume", etc. above the default items in the
context menu?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Just in case anyone doesn't get what I mean this is how it may look if you
right-clicked the item in the download manager. I'm not sure if this is
possible on Linux/Mac but it can be done on Windows at least.

But that's exactly what I said in my first post! What I'm asking for is
different. Guess I'll have to post on the other thread asking for this.
Reopening and tweaking summary, old one was "Add context menu for downloads".
Reporter could you give a list of what items you wish to see, i'm sure there is
already another bug open to add pause/resume to the download manager (if not the
context menu itself)

Summary: Add context menu for downloads → Add extra items to context menu for downloads
Thanks for re-opening this. I really want all of the items that you get when you
right-click a file (which will be different depending on each system), but I
suppose the main ones are:
* Cut
* Copy
* Rename
* Delete
* Properties
As I say I'd prefer the proper context menu, but if that interferes with themes
or whatever then those are the ones I'd like the most.
Most of these should be covered by "Show File Location" and then using the
context menu, if there is one, for the OS.
Yeah I know, but if I have lots of downloads and want to delete them quickly
it's a lot easier to just have it at the click of a button. Delete is the main
one I suppose. Is it that hard to show the context menu? I'm not much of a coder
so I don't really know. Or even if there were another button in the toolbar that
said "Context menu"?

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
