Environment:
Operating system: Windows 10
Firefox version: Firefox Nightly 157
Preconditions:
• Clean profile
• media.webspeech.recognition.enable set to true in about:config
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to https://speechnotes.co/it/
- Dismiss the cookie banner.
- Click on the microphone button and allow it when prompted.
- Ask a question and give an answer into the microphone, make a pause between them. (e.g. Q: Hello, how are you? A: I'm fine, thank you)
Expected Behavior:
Every word spoken into the microphone gets displayed.
Actual Behavior:
Not every word gets displayed.
Notes:
- This issue was identified during speech recognition testing phase
- In some cases the words get duplicated as well
- Reproducible on the latest Nightly
- Reproducible regardless of the ETP setting
- Works as expected using Chrome

The screenshot shows that you're attempting to recognize English with an Italian model (that knows some english in our case), you're lucky it works at all haha.
