Verified as fixed on the latest Nightly 158.0a1 (2026.09.16) and on Firefox 157.0b1-build2, with Windows 11, macOS 13 and Ubuntu 24 using ar and he builds, the issue no longer persists, the written string is in the right side of the new tab search bar.
