Trunk build 2003-05-28: Mac 10.1.5, WinMe Overview: After migrating a 4.x profile the browser no longer displays my bookmarks in the Personal Toolbar. Steps to reproduce: 1. In 4.x create bookmarks so they appear in the Personal Toolbar 2. Using today's build, migrate the 4.x profile Actual Results: The bookmarks do not appear in the Personal Toolbar. Open the Bookmark Manager dialog, expand the Personal Toolbar widget and my bookmarks are present they just don't show in the Personal Toolbar UI. Expected Results: The bookmarks should appear in the Personal Toolbar. Additional Information: - New profiles don't appear to have the problem.
Marking nsbeta1 and I will work on determining when the regression occured.

I've tried some older builds and so far these are my results: - Mac 10.1.5: builds from 2/1, 3/13, 4/4, 5/6, 5/28 all fail. - WinMe: build 3/19 is ok, 3/25 fails so on windows the regression occured between 3/19 and 3/25.
Depends on: 200048
On Sarah's Mac system we found the following: - Build 2002-12-23: which is a CFM build - ok, bookmarks appear in the personal toolbar. - Build 2003-01-15: which is a Macho build - fails On the Mac, maybe it's a CFM vs MachO issue?

No, this must have been there for long time since we changed bookmarks code to use unique IDs. This bug depends on bug 200048, actually it's the same problem.
I also cannot drag a url to the personal toolbar, which appears to be related to bug# 200048.
The problems I originally reported also appear on WinXP.

I have a fix for this, but it's part of another patch in bug 200048.
