This is a very ugly feature which will be fixed for sure in the future - there already exists several bugs in bugzilla with different approaches how to handle the domain guessing. Nevertheless if you want to open an URL in a new tab (which probably was your intention) you should use <Alt> + <Enter>. => resolving duplicate of bug #177618 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 177618 ***
