Details

On Android, the user characteristics ping measures its layout-based metrics (ClientRects, MathML, SVG text) in a page that is not laid out at the device's pixel density. UserCharacteristicsPageService loads usercharacteristics.html through HiddenBrowserManager, and on desktop the hidden browser picks up the screen's devicePixelRatio, so the values match what a website measures. On Android it mostly does not.
